What Ava Wore : Sunday Best

In case you don't guess it from looking at these photos, Ava's new very favourite thing to do?

Her make up.

I often find her playing with her big sis' collection - eyeshadow on her eyelids and under her eyes.

Like any little diva, she obviously chooses THE brightest pink lipstick she can find.

Quickly smudging it on before I catch her doing so.

Today, I let her keep it on.

Likely why she agreed to pose for these photos. And also why she looks so ridiculously happy in them.

Honestly, this one keeps me laughing every single day.

And also wishing her clothes came in adult size just as often.

sigh.

What Ava Wore: Je L'aime Paris

I have a secret.

I've never actually been to Paris.

But I already know that I love it.

Ava feels the same.

Obviously.

 The "Paris" dress by Limeapple has quickly become a favourite - cute and oh.so comfortable.
Simple dressing, even for the littles, has a certain je ne sais quoi.
Add a pair of slip-on sneakers and the perfect little denim jacket and you are ready for a day of exploring and balloon chasing.
Sadly, not in Paris...yet.

What Ava Wore : Easter Best

There are few things I enjoy more than dressing ms. Ava Grace.
Now, at 7, she still pretty much lets me choose what she'll wear although, I have to give her options.
On this Easter Sunday, I pulled three dresses - including this one.
She tried it on first, did a few twirls and was sold.

I don't think so.

What Ava Wore : My little Yogi

We were blessed to be able to attend a local event in honour of Jordana's Rainbows - a little girl who lost her life at the age of 10 to an aggressive form of childhood cancer, DIPG.

BlissOm was one of the key sponsors and held an incredible group yoga session that was nothing shy of moving.

To see her family there pushed me over the edge but I got through it.

Mostly because I had my little yogi by my side.

She gives me strength. Just like I'm sure little angel Jordana gave and gives her own mom strength.

And hope, that one day they will be together again.

When you think of holiday dressing for children - what comes to mind?

I'm going with velvet and lace.
