There is something about Christmas.
It brings families together like nothing else can - and even in the midst of sadness, can make you see all that is good.
We may have just renovated.
All of the pictures are still not hung.
The kids decorated the Christmas tree - and alas, it's not perfect.
But you know what?
Neither is our family. Or our life.
Or God's plan for each of us.
Hoping you shared a Merry little Christmas with those who are most special to you.
And that it was filled with as many sweet kisses as ours was.

I loved having a glimpse into your Christmas together time with your beautiful family. That is what it is all about isn't it. I agree that there is nothing perfect in our lives except God's perfect plan for us. If we could just keep our eyes focused on that through all the imperfections around us, we would see less of the wrong, wouldn't we. Happy New Year, my beautiful friend.

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photos of your Christmas, Susan. We didn't take a single one but I was happy to have my children with me and we had a wonderful time. Sadly they have to go back to their universities soon...
