Dear...

Dear Izzy,
Though I love you with all my heart...your 16th birthday party planning is surely going to drive me to drink. Partly because I can't believe you are going to be 16. When did that happen?

Dear Starbucks,
I love your new radio ads. Love that you use your own people to advertise and honestly, they make me hungry every morning as I drive in to work.
Well played Starbucks, well played.

Dear September,
Where did you go? Maybe it's just me but the older I get, the faster time seems to go.

Dear women everywhere,
While yes, I realize the thong underwear may not be as comfortable as a panty, there are times where it is unfortunately a necessity. Like with leggings. Or skinny jeans.
Visible panty lines look good on no one.

Dear Julian,
You are too smart for your own good. But I am smarter.
That is all.

Dear Ava's Closet,
And by this, I mean her actual closet. Looking after you, keeping you up to date and organized, is a full-time job. The amount of clothing you have would allow me to open up a small boutique.
It is all about purging, donating and wearing out right now.
On that note, dear Gap Kids, Old Navy and Crewcuts. Stop it. Just stop it.
This might not be the year.
But I'll get there yet.
I will be in Montreal later this month for a few days.
I might stop for macarons and order them in french.

Have a lovely Monday friends.

  1. Love all of this. My niece is turning 16 this next year and I just can't wrap my head around it. Nor that my baby is 3!

Facts that at times are hilarious but it is true; time flies by like CRAZY! Scary too... I remember too well that I turned 'sweet sixteen'.
Hugs and stay warm; enjoy the fall.
