    1. Thanks so much Jessica! I sent you an email reply but thought I would share here as well in case any other readers are wondering about sizing. I found the sizing of this brand small and since I am {ahem} larger in the bust, decided to go with a large. It's a little roomy but definitely not too much so.

  6. Dearest Susan,
Don't know what happened with fashion names but when I studied this was called knee length. The model on the website even shows here knees as it is still above the knee on her! Midi is only when it hits the calves...
BUT regardless the wrong information, you look surely quite elegant, young and very slender in this dress! Suites you well and hey, is this how a Mom of 3 looks like? Guess you win from most.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. Awww, you are just the sweetest ever Mariette! Thank you so much.
And as for the mini, midi, maxi debate {and what's what} -- I found this great article via Lucky Magazine that covers it really well. http://www.luckymag.com/style/2013/11/midi-skirts
I'm going with anything knee length to above calf length as midi. And Lord knows, my days of MINI are done! Hugs.

    2. Dearest Susan,
That was a good article and I also liked the way she wrote: Ending anywhere from just below the knee to a few inches above the ankle, the midi skirt—or tea skirt, as it's sometimes called... Tea skirt makes it look even more romantic!
But you sure can wear shorts or even MINI with your perfect legs.
      Hugs,
      Mariette
