So, here's the thing.
I'm what you might call an avid reader who doesn't have time to read.
Or at the very least, not as much time as I would like to.
I purchased a kobo reader last year thinking maybe this might help. Easier access to titles and a convenient all in one package I could bring everywhere. It didn't.
Enter Audible.
An audio book service with over 150,000 available titles making it the largest audio book inventory within the industry.
They feature instant downloads AND free listening samples of titles all of which are read by acclaimed actors {who knew!} who are great at making the story come alive.
I visited the site to see if the books I read in the last few months {pictured below} were available on audible and found that each was, alongside many others I have been anxious to get to.
My End of Summer Reading List
I'm actually going to try to tackle the last one on vacation now that I have both the hard and audible copy.
Have you read it?
Would love to hear what's on your list!

This sounds amazing for those who are able to transition to e-readers. Moi - I'm still a book girl .. there is something (for me) about curling up with a book , holding it and actually turning each page. Happy Monday , Celia M. (HHL)

ReplyDeleteI love to read all the books
I have read 37 books so far this summer! My favorites so far were The Last Letter From Your Lover by Jojo Moyes, All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr and In This Hospitable Land by Lynmar Brock Jr. It helps that I live at the beach because there's nothing like the beach and a good book!
ReplyDeleteIm not much of a reader but I do like a few books!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago when I was still working, I would have to drive a lot at times and I would listen to books on tape/cd and it made the drive more pleasant and I got to hear another book. I do enjoy books like this and I use the library often and they have these that I check out a lot.
