The Summer LuxeBox Reviewed

I last reviewed a Luxebox {Canada's version of Glossybox} here. Subsequently, after receiving just one box, the organization decided to change the system of monthly shipments {which I personally thought was half the fun} to a quarterly seasonal offering.
At that time, I decided to cancel my subscription and since then, a leftover credit on my account has left me perusing their site each quarter to see which box I might choose to try.
I decided on the summer version and thought I would share what I received.

If I was comfortable spending this amount of money on hair product, I would absolutely use Fekkai's. They are fabulous. Just very costly and not super widely available in Canada. I found them here + they ship free on $49+ orders {$22/product}. U.S. here.
I will say if you have super unruly, coarse hair, this is a lifesaver.

While the colour is adorable, the Nicole by O.P.I. polish contains just enough polish for maybe one manicure. It's tiny. Not sure why a full size {they're only $7 retail} wouldn't have been included. Find it here.
The LooseButton tweezers contained look like they're from the Dollar Store. I would not have included these.
K P duty moisturizing cream is a somewhat of a cult item so I was quite surprised to find a sample contained. I assume most have tried it. I enjoy this product and would definitely re-buy.
The sample size included is a large one and can be purchased at Sephora for $10 here
Full size, here. {$38}

I was really excited about this item as I had never heard of this brand from the Netherlands before. The packaging of the Teeez Spectrum of Stars eyeshadow is among the most creative I've ever seen as all of their product seems to be. The eyeshadow itself contains argan oil which sounds fabulous and the colour provided, called "vanilla sunbeam" is a perfect neutral.
Definitely a keeper. As far as I can see, it is available online only, find it here. {$19}
Eslor Skin Care is a high-end line that I have read about but never tried. They actually sell trial kits on their website {here} so this was a nice addition.
My skin is so sensitive these days, I am afraid to try it so I can't really provide much information on the actual performance. Would love any feedback if you have tried it. I am most curious about the scrub {which I may try outside of t-zone area}. Find the full size here. {$28}

Last, but certainly not least, the reason for my choosing this particular box. The added bonus of a Baublebar gift which was this slim-hinge, rose gold bangle. In a word, it's perfect.
Find it here {$32 + 15% if it's your first purchase with them!}
I should also add that the box included a sampling of 3 Crest 3D white strips {valued at $5 each} which Isabella promptly tried and just about lost it over. They are incredible. Not even kidding, her teeth changed colour in one use. By the second use, I needed sunglasses.
Find them at Ulta here. {$46} Available in Canada at Walmart here. {$59}

Tell me, do you subscribe to a monthly beauty box?
Love it or not?

  1. Ohhhh ... that bracelet definitely made it worth it! I use to subscribe to Luxebox (for a year - 4 seasons) I didn't find the items of particular interest - so not so valuable to me. Of course there is always an exceptionable box - you sign up and then it's a duds from there on. And the tiny sample sizes -are crazy ..how do you know if you like something or it works with just one try???? .... happy Tuesday my friend ...hugs, Celia M. (HHL)

  6. The mint polish is super pretty! It is too bad it wasn't full size. The rose gold bangle is gorgeous! Yes, the 3D Whitestrips do work. I've used them & they work great. I'm glad she had results too! Thank-you for the information & review!
