Happy New Year everyone!
It's funny how every new year brings with it promises of changes you will make we're trying to cut-down on our sugar intake starting tomorrow and excitement for what lies ahead.
Just last March I launched this little blog with this post. And our Ava Grace turned one.
April saw Jules turn 9 (?!) and the start of
what.we.wore
Enter May, Isabella gets braces and the search for a nanny is over!
In June we take our first vacation as a family of five. And we like it.
Our new nanny starts in July. Huge adjustment. Mostly for me.
Us girls go to a Taylor Swift concert.
My brother renews his wedding vows in August. We can't go. Boo. But here is what I would have worn. The summer seems to end too quickly.
September. back.to.school for some and back.to.work for others. By the end of the month, I resign after working in the corporate world for 20+ years. And am now full-time mama. And part-time blogger. We let our nanny go. So, so hard. But I know the decision is the right one.
In October I become the mother of a teenager. and a toddler.
Halloween. My first guest post.
November. I share a few secret family recipes starting with this. My dear friend lands a dream job and I play stylist for a day.
December. The last month of the year is filled with shopping, decorating a little baking and preparing for Christmas. Having a little one at Christmas brings it all full circle. The wonderment. The pure joy.
And through it all, I still couldn't sleep.
What a year.
Welcome 2012 I say. Welcome.
