What They Wore : Dr Martens Sisters

When these boots arrived for the girls, I couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic.

I wore Dr Martens all through high school and well into my 20's. 

Tucking my jeans {secret? THESE are my old jeans!} into them exactly the way Isabella did in these photos.

They gave you that instant cool factor. The rebel WITH cause.

And came with a universal type acceptance with the preppy and punk crowd alike.

The "docs" of today still come in the classic lace-up style of old but also in a ton of other great options including the pull-on chelsea style boot Ava Grace wears and various leather combinations like the snakeskin print on Izzy. 

Once "broken in" they will be the boot your little or you reach for again and again. 

And by again and again, I mean that the quality is so superb, they literally last a lifetime. 

I may or may not still have mine somewhere.
