I may be partial, but Yorkdale? It has always been my favourite mall in the city.
It could be because it holds so many childhood memories - I grew up in the neighbourhood and spent many a Saturday there shopping with my mother.
To really date myself, Eaton's was where the food court now sits - Simpson's was where The Hudson's Bay is and Santa? His surroundings were all 70's green.
you know the one I mean.
Shopping at Yorkdale today, is such a different experience - I lug my own children along, usually the youngest two, and although they're not bad little shoppers, at Christmas time, that all goes out the window.
Enter the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique.
Centrally located just across the hall from Pottery Barn and Coach, the holiday boutique gives busy moms (and dads!) a refuge from the madness that is the mall at this time of year.
With complimentary valet parking, coat and parcel check; it certainly makes the little things that can take so much away from the experience...better.
A group of local bloggers recently enjoyed a media event in the space; bright and airy with beautiful Christmas decor and the comfiest couches that are a welcome treat.
As is the complimentary coffee bar and the fact that the staff is ready and waiting to giftwrap your purchases.
How fabulous is that?
I must say, the classical piano playing was a nice touch, as were the incredible merchandise displays throughout - showing cardholders just a few of the fun goodies they could purchase with their Avion points.
RBC Avion Holiday Boutiques will be located in Yorkdale and Square One Shopping Centres in Ontario as well as in Coquitlam Centre in BC and Halifax Shopping Centre in Nova Scotia.
If you're a cardholder, you won't want to miss this experience.
Definitely, Santa Approved.
Disclosure: I am part of the RBC Avion Holdiay Boutique Blogger Campaign with Mom Central Canada and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. As always, the opinions on this blog are strictly my own.
