Conversations with The Kid

It's funny.
Julian is not a big talker outside of home. But get him in the car, alone, and our conversations always go something like this:

J: Wow! Mom! Mom! Is that the eiffel tower?
Me: Julian, how could that be the eiffel tower?
J: I thought it was. It looked like it. Is it?
Me: It might be, IF WE WERE IN FRANCE!

J: Mom, don't turn on the radio.
Me: I didn't.
J: Good. 'cuz of my ear.
Me: I won't.
J: Good. And don't do this {makes blowing motion} into it either.
Me: Now, why would I do that?
J: I don't know, because you're STOOOOPID.
(Note: I have forgiven him as he is fighting an ear infection)

J: Mom, you know what we saw at Walgreen's?
Me: No. What?
J: 5 hour energy.
Me: What is that?
J: It's a drink and it gives you 5 hours of energy. I want that for Christmas.

J: The doctor said "no beach".
Me: Did he really say that or do you just not want to go to the beach?
J: He really said that. If you go to the beach with an ear infection and sand goes in it, you turn into SANDMAN!
You can't make this stuff up I tell ya.
You just can't.
