A Day at the Races

It's funny. 
IRL I barely ever wear red. Yet, whenever I'm putting together a board on Polyvore, I'm inevitably drawn to a punch of red, especially with crisp black and white.
This week's prompt "Decked out for the Derby", had me thinking of hats.
Big, fabulous hats. 
And equally big sunglasses.

    The races are so much fun!! We lived in San Diego and only went to Del Mar once, but it was a blast. I did not, however, wear a big hat. Wish I had tho!

    As long as the red is used to spicy up an outfit, it's okay. Guess because my Mom found red her favorite color, I'm just the opposite...

    This outfit is seriously stunning. Very sophisticated! I am a sucker for black and white with pops of red...it's actually the three colors I'm wearing now haha!

    I'm the same way, I hardly ever wear red, but I love seeing it on people or use it when doing collages. Funny how that works :o). Have a great weekend and thanks for the sweet comment on my blog.     I love this! I can't wear red (awful with my complexion), but I wish I could. I am totally into wearing hats this Spring too (preferably with big sunglasses). My sister always jokes that I look like I'm going to the races. ;)
