Celebrating Two

The evening couldn't have been sweeter.
Made more so by Ava's reaction to everything.
She kissed her cake. Repeatedly.
She played shy when we sang "Happy Birthday".
She threw a tantrum like nobody's business when her new doll wouldn't come out of it's package quickly enough.
Just your regular two year old.
Happy Birthday sweet girl.

  11. Oh, she's entered the world of the 2 year olds! My (7th) 2 year old will be 3 soon, so I think she's being extra committed to her "terrible two-dom" while she can, ha! At the same time, I love that age--so inquisitive, still trusting, so much joy and energy, and they can learn more than we can even begin to imagine!
And yes, great cake--I love that it looks beautiful and yet simple enough that I might be able to make something like it one day!!! (you never know...for my grandchildren perhaps? :-))

  16. The amount of cuteness in this post is illegal in some parts of the world. I'm sure of it.
