Ava and I had a conversation earlier this week about which season is our most favourite.
She insists she is partial to the fall, mostly because there is jumping in piles of leaves happening.
Myself? I'm definitely a summer girl.
Here are a few of our must haves -
1. A straw sunhat. Maybe two. We're also quite partial to the baseball hat as well.
2. The perfect hooded swimsuit cover up. Terry preferred. This one by Garnet Hill Kids. {also available in purple, solid fuchsia and/or teal}
3. Sunscreen. Our current favourite is by Ombrelle. Always in a 50+.
4. Sunglasses. These are by my dear friends at Love My Alannah + are the perfect amount of cute AND stylish. N'est pas?
5. Flip flops. Any or all of these would do nicely.
6. Pull on and go dresses, like these. Always 100% cotton. Maybe it's just me but I basically put Ava in a dress every day come summertime. So easy.
7. A popsicle maker (I am dying to try this one!) or a driver who can go back and forth to 7 11 and get slurpees as required.
Oh wait, that's me.
8. A big sis who is an expert at french braiding. and at taking photos of rambunctious 5 year olds.
What are your can't live without summer essentials?
And also, has anyone tried the Zoku pop maker? Would love to hear about it!
