We are counting down the days to our upcoming vacation.
Ava of course has no idea where we're going but knows there will be water, sand and sun.
She is pretty much ready to go. Right now.

When it's hot,I find it easiest to have Ava in a cool, cotton dress.
I love these sailor style dresses by Petit Bateau {available at Melijoe} so much, that I would a.) buy it in both colours and b.) want it in my size.
Jelly sandals, are THE perfect shoe - super light to pack and they easily go from beach to lunch in a flash. We own a version of the navy ones shown.
A white cardigan is always a must for cool summer evenings. It goes with everything, especially a golden tan.
As far as I'm concerned, there are 2 things you can never bring enough of.
1. Swimsuits - She will wear one in the morning, it will get wet and likely, she will want another one later that day.
Do we want to talk about how adorable the striped one shoulder with rosette and matching swim cap that she will never wear but that I just had to have is?
And 2. Sunglasses - Yes, of course because they're adorable but also because they're small and often forgotten. When the sun is strong, they will be asking you for them.
Last, but certainly not least, comfortable shoes, these birkenstocks in a universal, go with everything shade will do, along with a fun beach bag for sand toys -
and we're all set.
Now all we need is a beach.
