If your family is like mine, you own more than a few gadgets including {but not limited to} 2 iPhones, 1 blackberry, 2 Microsoft Surface units, 1 iPad and more television sets than I care to count.
I know I am guilty of allowing my three more time on electronics than I probably should. Particularly when I need to get something done.

Managing what the younger kids are watching and for how long, has been a constant struggle in our home. {I wrote about it here}.
Enter Kidoodle.TV
A programming schedule that is just for them with tons of fun content including many retro {who remembers Inspector Gadget?!} shows that were too good not to share with our little ones now.
You choose a selection of programs that are age appropriate and set up viewing time limits based on your preferences.
Even the background colour is fully customizable.
Please note the pink I chose for Ms. Ava.
Unlimited streaming on up to 5 devices with 5 different child profiles available to you, ad free + just $4.99/month.
Ava has been rather partial to Richard Scarry's Hurray for Huckle regardless of how many times I tell her that Madeline episodes are available.
I may or may not have watched a few myself.

This looks like a completely awesome service and a nice alternative to Netflix for the little ones. I will certainly be looking into it.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah... I'm in need of this same thing. It's all too easy to hand over your iphone or ipad to appease them.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy
I'll have to check it out... even if it's more so I can see the retro toons ;)
ReplyDeleteThat would be perfect in my house with 4 kids it would help with the fighting. Lol
ReplyDeleteI think alot of parents struggle with limiting the times
ReplyDeleteI could so see my daughter loving this too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic option for the littles. We may or may not watch way too much Treehouse/PBS/Teletoon Retro but I like how they can order this up themselves and there are shows that would be new to them.
ReplyDeleteI think KidoodleTV is a great idea, and very kid friendly to use.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few of these, I haven't compared the specs and inclusions yet, this seems like a pretty reasonable price. We love Inspector Gadget!
ReplyDeleteI have heard the greatest things about Kidoodle TV! This looks like a wonderful alternative instead of just passing over my phone. Love this idea.
ReplyDeleteI have been hearing wonderful things about this! Thank you for the review.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I have heard of this! My son will be turning ten in a few months and I have been thinking about getting him an Ipad. This would be great for him!
ReplyDeleteI would've loved this when I babysat this summer, the boys would've gone crazy!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! I thought all of those shows were lost for good! Thanks for sharing!
