Randomness

It is Monday right?
My kids keep asking me what day it is every day since it seems when we are all on holiday break, every day feels like a Sunday.
Love that.

Isabella has an EXTRA week off. Her high school had a small electrical fire {no one was in the school when it happened} over the Christmas holidays and they need some more time to clean it up. As you can imagine, she is just sick about it.
Not.

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my iphone to ios 7. I know, I know. The verdict is still out but for now, I kinda love the new font and how fresh everything looks. My brother is somewhere smiling, nodding and thinking, I told you so.

On that note, what are your favourite photo editing apps for iphone? Right now, I mainly use picfx and a few apps that allow me to prep my photos {square, collage, mirror} for sharing on instagram.
Nothing crazy.
Share your recos in the comments if you're so inclined.

Ava and Isabella were playing on the bedroom rug the other day and at one point, Izzy picked up her sister and had her semi-suspended above her.
Ava looked down + said "Izzy, you need your eyebrows done".
She's three.

Should I be concerned?
And, while we're on the subject of facial hair...Julian is growing what appears to be the first signs of a teeny tiny mustache. He also recently asked me to buy him some "Abercrombie cologne". Then, in what can only be explained as a small miracle, he asked to take a shower.

They told me this would happen but I never believed them.

This happened earlier this week.

I couldn't be more thrilled to have been recognized by parents.com as one of their top 10 mommy bloggers of 2013.
How crazy is that??
all photos taken with my iphone. Just a few of my favourties from this past year.
And lastly, I am dedicating today's post to a girl I didn't know too well but who I really liked all the same.
Renee died suddenly on December 30th. A virus.
She was the same age as me, had 2 small boys + a husband who adored her.
At the visitation he told me that he felt like he was having a nightmare that he would never wake up from.
My heart breaks for their small family.
