Friday Fancies : Serious Sunnies

Among the fashion items I tend to spend the most of my clothing budget on?
Good quality jeans, handbags and sunglasses.
The latter two are more of an obsession really.
Since I have yet to meet a pair of sunglasses I didn't like that much.

Sunnies Abound

1. Oh Tom Ford. I love every.single.pair. The Margot come in this beyond amazing {and so flattering!} gray color. And the frame?  Sleek and over sized perfection.

2. A dear friend of mine picked these up recently and when she sent me the original photo, I swore the frames were covered in polka dots. Come to find out, they're stars!
I tried them on. I didn't want to give them back. Truth.
They are now known simply as the DG4114's as I was on the hunt. I found them here

3. How fun are these Ray-Ban's? A little thicker frame a la Karen Walker and such a great tortoise-shell print.

4. I know, I know. Karen Walker's sunglasses are pretty much all to die for this season. I really like the Harvest. The gold detail and the subtle round frame seem to look good on almost everyone. I have yet to try a pair. I think I'm afraid to if I'm being totally honest.

5. Probably my favorite's of the entire bunch. I own a pair in silver and they are my go-to's. Light on the face so just perfect for hot, humid days. I do have a pair of gold Michael Kors' aviators that I enjoy, but I have to say, I reach for my Ray Ban's more often.
Now, I just need a gold-toned pair.

6. These are by Witchery and I just love the transparent frame and almost masculine aviator style. Pricing of this Australian line is very reasonable and they are right on trend. Definitely worth checking out.

7. Now, how I could I narrow it down to just one pair from this incredible collection? Impossible.
These are the glasses that seem to be on the face of every fashion blogger out there and are aptly called the "Anywhere". In black or tortoise, they are fashion forward and fabulous. and i want them in both colors. amen.

8. Lastly, if all else fails, I could buy every pair on Madewell's site. I tried to narrow it down to my very favorites and chose these, the Hepcat. Available in a variety of colors, each one prettier than the last.

So, tell me, are you a sunglasses kind of gal?
Who makes your faves?

Happy Weekend.

  1. I usually don't spend a lot of money on sunglasses because I lose them frequently.
