Last week, I went out to dinner with a couple of friends and somehow, not sure why, the subject of the polka dot came up.
One of us, who may or may not be a personal shopper at a very high-end department store in Toronto, feels this print has no place being worn by anyone at anytime.
I mean, she really doesn't like it.
For me, it's small doses.
A little sweater here. A pair of perfect cream Marc Jacobs jeans there.
So, how about you?
Love it or loathe it?

No doubt she probably knows better than me---haha--but I love polka dots in small doses! I don't know if I can pull them off on my pants--but I love them.
ReplyDeleteWell I guess I am somewhere in between...Zara has these awesome destroyed denim jeans with polka dots faded into them right now and I LOVE them. I never say never to anything anymore because I have realized that when style to your taste..you can usually make it work for you. the classic polka dot..definitely a nay in my book, but that's just my style! These jeans are subtle so they are acceptable ..ha..ha!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Ohmygosh, I absolutely LOVE polka dots!! It's so classic and can be worn any time of the year. It's one of my favorite prints!
ReplyDeleteInteresting question...I had a boss who absolutely hated them and I always thought her hatred of them odd. Then I think about my denim issues...but I find denim overalls way more offensive on a woman than polka dots
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that bracelet!
