What the boy Wore

The other day, I was going back and forth with a fellow blogger about kid's fashion and how much we LOVE to dress our little ones.
Maybe more than we enjoy dressing ourselves.
Some say boys are harder. I say nay.
I have always had so much fun dressing Jules.
Typically, I radiate to H&M, Zara Kids and Mexx Kids for him.
Boys are so much harder on their clothes and I find these brands are built to last. Even in the knees.

Julian wears:
shirt and jeans - Mexx Kids
He may or may not be wearing popped-out 3D glasses in these photos.
And we may or may not have agreed to one silly pose for each serious one.
Hey, whatever works.

My mom is 81 years young today!
Love you mama, even if you didn't keep these gauchos.

  1. these pics are awesome! I have gotten so many good pics lately. I think I am going to get them all made into canvases and make a huge collage somewhere of like more urban street-style pics of them! so cue I have to do something with them!

  3. Dearest Susan,
First off, congrats to your Mama! Far away from her birth country but happy and free with great family nearby.
Julian looks so cute in his suspender shirt! Love his second picture; he's a bright kid!
Hugs to you and wishing you a Happy Easter weekend!

  4. He is just adorable, and I LOVE that shirt! I've always found shopping for The Boy so much fun, but then again, any shopping thrills me. (Sad, but true!)

Happy Birthday to your lovely mama!

  6. How fun! I have two boys and they've been fun to dress. Boy #1 loved baggy t-shirts and comfy shorts most of his young life... and then he discovered girls and went all "Metro" on us. He's in college now -- and I won't discuss college fashion.

Boy #2 had to dress for every occasion when he was little. Church was always suit and tie. Play clothes matched each occasion, meaning lots of wardrobe changes in a day. Now, he's an athlete and dresses the part 24/7: sports mesh shorts and tees. Every day. Every "wear." :)

  10. He looks great!! I find it hard to dress my boy. He has his own style and it's NOT mine....very stubborn, that boy. Of course, he's 15, and what 15 yr old wants his momma dressing him? lol My daughter is so much easier!
