What Ava Wore : The Union Jack

For as long as I can remember, as far back as my Duran Duran days really, I have loved anything with a union jack on it.
Strange? Maybe. especially since I've never even been to Great Britain. 
Know that I have a similar obsession with the american flag. Truth.

Ms. Ava had a blast playing in the leaves.
I had a blast trying to figure out the correct manual camera settings to capture the moment.

    Oh my gosh! I can't believe you have never been to Great Britain! You have to plan a trip, to London at least. You would love it. I go back every chance I get.

    And Ava, there are no words for how adorable she is.

    When I was about five my mum had a pair of SPARKLY union jack sock. I KNOW, right????!!!
    I thought they were totally rad until I was about ten, and would steal them every chance I got. Then, when I was some sort of weird, strange, plaid-bell-bottom-loving teen, I thought they'd be rad all over again. But alas, they were gone. The injustice. Le sigh.

    Kids just love picking up the leaves and throw them up in the hair dont they??? K does the same thing!!! she's too cute, i love her lil boots!

    I, too, love the Union Jack and have never been to Great Britain. ha!
