I have always loved Halloween.
Even if my mama dressed me as a clown for like 5+ years running. Truth.
My cousin came every year so we could trick or treat together with the neighborhood kids. Pillowcases in hand. I remember running sweating to get from house to house.
Not sure my kids have that same passion. But we certainly have fun getting them ready.
This year, our teenager ahem wanted to be something "cute".
What does that mean exactly?
In our case, it turned out to be this "cute" version of Little Red Riding Hood.
Basically, a cape and lots of eye and lip makeup.
Oh yes, and the chance to wear red nail polish for the first time ever.

I mean he looks like Daniel Radcliffe on a bad day.
When he doesn't comb his hair which is everyday even more so.

Our own little Harry Potter.
We got her dressed and laughed. and laughed.
I mean, it's hilarious non?

ReplyDeleteThey all look adorable. I know what "cute" means when it comes to teenage girls and Halloween costumes (shorter hems, tighter fit, and bustiers), but your daughter's is actually very tamed and yes very "cute"...
ReplyDeleteadorable!
ReplyDeleteThey all look "cute," but I think your teen means it in a slightly different way... she totally pulled it off, though!
