What that baby Wore : Some Days

There are days I get through because of her.
It's been a bit of a rough week.
Some days felt like they would never end.
Changing up how we normally do things, adjusting to being home again and helping our Donna get settled with a new employer.
I can't wait for things to just be back.to.normal

Kinda like before I ever went back to work. And messed everything up.
I'm finding that I'm over-ambitious some days. Just trying to get too much done and putting unnecessary pressure on myself.
And then learning remembering that it's hard to get anything done with an active 18 month old.
Some days it bothers me. Others not so much.

I am hoping for more of the latter.

On Ava:
Sweater Coat - Obaibi
Shirt - H + M
Polka Dot Leggings - Joe Fresh
Shoes - Robeez

Change isn't always easy.
But it's always good.

  2. I feel the same way sometimes when I have like 4 loads of laundry to put away, toilets to scrub, and toys everywhere......we can only do so much. Do what you can and everything else can just wait;) I just love her curls!

  4. She's too cute...don't worry. You'll get back into the swing of things. Until then just bask in the cuteness of your babe...

  5. The time that our kids are little goes by so fast. I think as moms our expectations of ourselves is far greater than what others expect... My advise... enjoy these moments - try to let the rest of the world wait - it will still be there...
    She is beautiful!

  9. I'm sure you'll fall back into your groove again soon.

And hey, if you hadn't gone back and tried it, you would always have wondered "what if?" Now you know for sure that this is the right decision for you, Ava, and your entire family.

  10. I have been wondering how you are doing... after your decision to stay home. I remember when I did I was at peace with the decision....but it took quite a bit of time to settle into...as I had never really considered staying home with my children, before my third....I was glad i did but finding a new balance was a struggle.

    Sending you love my dear.
